Not surprisingly, the gals got work at a cosplay café, which included all the conventional things you see there, such as Yukana doing the tasty food spell for a plaid-clad otaku.
The other girls did their conventional things too, with Nene causing heart attacks, Yui becoming the clumsy waitress, and Ranko spilling over as she wipes up spills.
Two of the dudes worked at an Akihabara bookstore, of course. I don't recognize this Pure Summer title. The artist's style looks familiar though.
Junichi was kitchen staff, but he shared the employee's break room. That meant sketchy things were bound to happen with a whole bunch of girls around, obviously.
It may have been nurse day, but it totally fit Ranko's personality to play the seductive doctor.
Event day at the café meant having the girls read the ecchi parts of popular light novels. Why yes, that is Masou Gakuen HxH. What a surprise! I mean, the cafe was only named Heart x Hybrid...
The kids made some money for their Summer trip. It's time to go! Next week, anyway.
Lots of crazy cross-promotional stuff happening in the end card and the episode. Hisasi is the cover artist for HxH too, so he got lots of exposure, just like his subjects.
