After becoming an official couple, Keita and Karen go on their first date to an arcade.

DAY 7 - "Keita Amano and Karen's Best Entertainment"

Strangely, nothing has changed after the big public confession except Keita and Karen are officially dating. Strangers are still giving Keita dirty looks and the love square still has their delusions about everyone else's relationship status. Karen is actually the only one in the right mental space to appreciate her surprise happy end from last episode.

Keita thinks he's the cover for Tasuku cheating on Aguri with Karen. Aguri still thinks Tasuku is cheating on her with Chiaki. Chiaki thinks Keita has made a clean break from Aguri to date Karen. And Tasuku thinks Aguri is still dating Keita while he's going out with Karen. Can't any of these people just ask one other person if their thinking is correct? Silly Japanese and their vague roundabout way of talking...

So, anyway, Keita and Karen are dating and they are going through all the cute, precious, adorable first love stuff kids go through when dealing with their feelings for the other. Awkward, cringy, and so pure!

I like that Keita's game analogy for not quitting a net game session is the thing that strikes Karen's heart.

Keita became so polite with Karen! And now they have this shtick where Karen is Keita's commanding officer. Well, that's how it usually goes with a married couple, so it should be good practice, Karen!

Ha! A normie date. They'll find a way to put a gamer geek tweak to it.

Wait! This is already the pool episode? My body isn't ready!

Keita just a lost a life looking at Karen's swimsuit. Good man.

Keita is only now discovering that Karen is kind of annoying with how she needs game rules for everything.

And Chiaki too! Oh. I guess we're not getting the full pool episode experience. This is just an appetizer for the full-on fanservice episode.

A jealous Karen is a comedic Karen.

Chiaki came to the pool with her younger sister, but we never met her. I sense shenanigans happening soon with a polar opposite almost the same age kind of character.

These little kids watching the big kids play is great. This is the exact stuff Keita talks about when he describes having fun while playing to win.

I guess we know why the end cards feature all this swimsuit stuff with Karen and Chiaki. Aguri and Chiaki's younger sister need to get some air time before the end of the season.
