Tour de France 2017 - 15/07/2017 - Etape 14 - Blagnac / Rodez (181,5km) - France - Christopher FROOME (TEAM SKY) © ASO/Pauline BALLET
After time gaps were assessed on the finish line of Stage 14 at Rodez, Chris Froome was back in yellow, 18 seconds ahead of Fabio Aru. This is exactly the same time difference between the pair before the steep ramp finish at Peyragudes on Stage 12 that put Aru 6 seconds ahead Froome. The Tour has been reset, as if the last two stages never happened, except Team Astana has lost Aru's climbing helper Fuglsang and Froome's teammate Landa is in 5th and a legitimate GC threat to those who want to be on the podium in Paris. It looks like Team Sky had a very good 2 Day holiday away from the race lead.
