Episode 2 - "Heart Hybrid"

Heh.

If the first episode was all about grabbing the audience's attention, and Aine's boobs, this episode is about exposition and giving Yurishia her turn with the McFluffer's hands.

Quick notes on the premise - the invaders showed up 15 years ago, destroyed everything for two weeks, then disappeared. 6 months prior to when the show starts up, they came back and destroyed everything again. People had been busy for those last 15 years in developing Hybrid Gear, but it's only been good enough to let humanity fall back to some fortified group of islands. Kizuna's powers allow his sister to develop a new kind of strategy and gear: Heart Hybrid. She calls McFluffer's ministrations Love and Heart which probably means Kizuna needs to have sexy time with the girls and give them a bit of lovey-dovey attention.

To be sure, the groping of Aine last episode only really became effective when he called her cute. This episode, Yurishia's heart went doki-doki when he said he wanted to protect her because she was a girl. I suppose chivalry isn't dead in the gooey center of Yurishia's overdeveloped chest.

Anyway, McFluffer's sister makes him the captain of his harem because of his recharging abilities, much to the consternation of Hayuru. She's the designated morals officer character, and she plays it pretty well. We obviously have a whole bunch of story to get through before we catch up with the flash-forward.

Aine wants to get strong, so visiting Kizuna in his bed is no big deal.

Apparently, all these Hybrid Gear users are girls, following the Infinite Stratos template. No explanation has been given yet about why, but all that matters is that McFluffer is the only guy surrounded by many pairs of breasts to grope.

Yurishia, the American Ace, fills the popular ojou-sama role. She's even got a little fan club of three girls to "protect" her.

I must say that there was a massive drop in animation quality for the regular parts of the show. The first episode kept things pretty even when people were just talking and walking, but now the time and care is being budgeted for the action scenes. By which I mean McFluffer's sexy time.

Every girl has been well endowed, but we do have our obligatory loli in Sylvia who appears to be some kind of assistant to the quiet Hybrid Gear technician.

As expected, a routine mission goes sideways and Yurishia got her sexy time with McFluffer. These dimensional "Entrances" for the invaders need a certain size land mass to manifest and the little island they went to explore got much larger when the tide went out.

The tone of the episode was much funnier than the first episode too. They used funny sound effects with screen wipes to change scenes. This is good. If they're not going to take this show seriously, then the pressure is off me to do the same.

Geh.

It's time for Yurishia to ask whether you're ready.

Because she's about to have some very NSFW sexy delusions with Kizuna.

I say delusions, because all that McFluffer did in physical reality was accidentally grab her breast. Everything that came after was all in Yurishia's head. Or wish fulfillment.

Kizuna did none of that to her. It's alright. I like a girl in anime who's honest about her sexual fantasies.

Yurishia certainly has a lot of parts to her Hybrid Gear.

Some hints at the larger plot came through with the free agent in Hybrid Gear separating the team members with some kind of barrier. Hopefully, she's a sexy girl too.
