Kakashi and Obito team up again to save Naruto. Guy makes a dynamic entry.
Heh.
Obito didn't need the Sage Tools to put some 9-tail fox chakra in Naruto - he just used the dark chakra that the Black Zetsu stole from Minato. That worked out fine.
Using two sharingan doubled the speed of Obito's teleportation. Makes sense.
The filler, er, extended anime-only flashback contained some nice foreshadowing for the end of the episode.
Ha! I liked how Obito said he never took the straight path to his destination when he finally got to Naruto's location. As usual, he got sidetracked by helping out some elderly person. He didn't even get candy out of it. Stingy Madara.
Rin really was the bridge between Obito and Kakashi.
The flashbacks did drive home the point that Kakashi had reconciled Obito's ninja way of not turning his back on his comrades with his old credo of completing the mission at all costs. The answer was that the mission wasn't done until everyone made it home.
Next time, we've got some flashbacks for Guy. This was actually in the manga, but I'm curious to see if they'll add some filler to it as well. Guy is pretty important at this point in the story since Madara has entered Sage of the Six Paths mode and only physical and nature based attacks can work on him now. The Gates of Life that Guy uses combines both, so he'll get to kick Madara's butt again.
