10 Second Anime - High School DxD BorN - Episode 8



Rias' forces fight through Diodora's group to rescue Asia. They win the battle, but the fight isn't over.

Heh.

That was a good fight! We had ebbs and flows, and though we knew Rias' Family was going to win, how they got there and what Issei was going to do were going to be the interesting things to the whole episode.

 

Freed. What a waste of a character. He was only there to tell us how horrible Diodora actually was, how Diodora manipulated Asia into being exiled by the Church, and then to be defeated easily by Kiba after he turned into a freak.

 

Chaos Brigade seemed to loan out their members rather easily, even increasing Diodora's power by giving him a dragon of his own. We didn't even see it in action, so underpowered was he against Issei.

Not only was Issei the pawn promoted to queen, he was given permission to use his Enemy of All Women skill - Dress Break. Yes, yes, he's the worst, Koneko-chan.

It didn't turn out to be much of an advantage, though. All the girls he was fighting were hand-to-hand melee fighters who didn't need armor or weapons. Plus, they were well prepared for how the Oppai Dragon fights too.

 

That was a hell of a cliffhanger. I literally had no idea what happened to Asia after she knelt down to pray and that bright light made her disappear.

 

Ha! Issei Deito Powerup! Koneko knows what's going on between Akeno and Rias.

 

Everybody got a chance to shine. Xenovia dual-wielding Durandal and Issei's sword Ascalon was quite the sight. He got that sword from the Archangel Michael, so to have a former Church member use it had extra significance.

 

We all suspected Issei's Dress Break skill would be more useful than just stripping girls naked, so I was happy to see him break a powerful confinement spell with it. Now we're seeing Issei turn into a real Red Dragon Emperor.

Geh.

When Issei was given the go ahead to use Dress Break, you knew it was going to be an awesome NSFW fight. Sona's sister Serafall was used in the eye catch for some reason. She wasn't even in the episode.

Alright! Dress Break! Time to watch all the girls squeal in embarrassment. Uh... she's not squealing in embarrassment.

Well, there's a downside for being infamous as the Oppai Dragon. People get to know some of your attacks and invent strategies against them. Diodora used a spell to take away his pawns sense of shame. Time for Oppai Ownage.

Issei didn't seem to mind all the contact... But he had something to try. That breast talking trick he came up with which worked with Akeno. You knew it was going to work when he picked out a proper name for it - Oppai Lingual! Like bilingual, get it? Oh, I got it alright.

He wasn't reading their minds. He was reading their hearts, chests, breasts, thingies. Good thing Gasper didn't hesitate using his time-stopping powers. Oppai Lingual Teamwork with Koneko Kick!



Asia was rescued and quickly dressed. Maybe Issei needs to work on a Dress On! skill for cosplay purposes in his harem...

Hmm.

Everything appeared to work out, until the good guys started throwing out death flags. And shouldn't have Asia felt an immense amount of pain from praying like that? Was she burned away by Holy Light? What happened? The previews show that there appears to be a way to help, so hope isn't lost, but that was a huge reversal of fortune after the big fight and how well Issei appeared to stand all the power boosting he was doing. We'll have to wait until next week to find out what happened to Asia.
