The Lancer versus Archer battle was everything one could hope for between two heroes who really didn't want to fight each other.
Bringing the A-Game, no matter the stakes, was how the two heroes showed respect to each other.
Why would a "simple bowman" have the Shield of Ajax? Lancer asked the right question, "Who exactly are you?"
Rin showed Caster how modern mages fight - melee style!
Caster got a good taste of Rin's mighty fist. I don't think she liked it very much.
