I recovered okay from washing out my back tire on a hairpin curve. By which I mean, I kept the bike upright, only had to put down one foot, but I did end up hitting a curb at 5 miles an hour. I knew I didn't have enough road to complete the turn after I recovered the skid and I didn't have enough time to come to a complete stop, so I decided to hit the curb as slow as I could manage it and as straight as I could manage it, then deal with whatever happened after that. No problems!
