Night Raid successfully assassinates Bolic. Mine kills Seryu Ubiquitous, getting revenge for Sheele and Chelsea.

Heh.

I was tense watching Mine's fight against Seryu, because sometimes crazy is so crazy it forgets to die. Not until Mine was in Tatsumi's arms did I relax.

I was worried that Tatsumi was going to end up like Samson pulling the whole building down on top of him. Then Mine cut the rest of the building in half, so who knew what was going to happen?

For sure that Suzuka Rakshasa Demon person is still alive. A huge rock falling on top of a body manipulation expert isn't going to kill her.

Seryu is dead. Good. Coro died with her. Kind of bad. Dogs are only as vicious as their owners, and though Seryu was broken in the head with her perverted sense of justice, she still cared for people, and Coro.



Coro was a good puppy.

Mine did her homework on Coro. From almost getting his core, to protecting her hearing from his deafening roar attack, she was ready for revenge.

Everybody needs their special meal before a big operation!

Har. Tatsumi got the kid's meal because he doesn't have a favorite yet.

Okay, they're really pushing this Mine x Tatsumi pairing. There weren't just death flags, but actual route flags popping up.



I guess Leone mai waifu will only be the busty onee-san that makes Mine jealous with her teasing of Tatsumi.

Najenda had a well-planned operation. She knew what her cowardly target would do because he already disobeyed Esdeath in letting his Rakshasa Demons try to take out Night Raid. Esdeath may overpower on the battlefield, but an escort mission is outside her sphere of domination.

Interesting that Chelsea's poison is still trying to kill Kurome. And, there's definitely some "leaning" toward Wave on her part.

Geh.

Bolic still disobeyed Esdeath after her special "service."



You usually get death if you don't listen to Esdeath Mai Mistress, but this is a switch where she doesn't get to dish it out. Also, nice shadow. Does Esdeath go commando?

Leone Mai Waifu had a good scene.



These scenes might be getting rarer if they keep focusing on the Tatsumi x Mine route. More Leone for me then!

This may be the first time Esdeath has actually failed in a mission. She was sent to protect Bolic, and she had certain strategies in trying to take out Night Raid first, but failing that, had to revert to protection duty. It's much harder to protect a target in one place from an infiltration unit. Esdeath's unit was the wrong squad for the job. They were formed to kill Night Raid, so taking advantage of a known target would have been good tactics, but let someone else do the protection. Esdeath failed at both because of incorrect mission parameters.

Next time, we return to another villain in the Prime Minister's son who did all that teleporting. Is it time for another death flag to trip for the good guys? The Jaegers' ranks are getting pretty thin too, so they need some new blood. Um, I mean, they need more personnel.
