Using the timing of a religions uprising, Night Raid moves to take on the Jaegers before the Rebel Army starts its campaign. Akame confronts her sister Kurome.

New opening and closing credits to mark the new season.

Chelsea in action shows off her infiltration and exfiltration techniques by being a master of disguise. Perhaps a hint of betrayal somewhere inside the rebel army as Chelsea thinks the Jaegers had some prior knowledge of who Night Raid's target was.

I'm glad Lubbock was angry at Tatsumi for having a tropical vacation with a beautiful woman. But why is he drinking out of Najenda's cup?

Bulat's influence on Tatsumi continues, as he drinks out of a mug with the kanji for "fellow" (漢), which also means China, and is how kanji is written too (漢字). And that character is embroidered on his crew neck sweater now. Very preppy.

Continuing on with more Japanese puns, the scarecrow that Susanoo pops out of has the characters which read "pond surface," but it's pronounced "ikemen." 池, also pronounced "chi" means pond, but the slang for good looking guy is ikemen, spelled いけ面. men here means face, surface, mask, aspect, while the ike comes from いける　or 行ける, meaning to "look good."

Leone onee-san knows how to make Tatsumi forget all about that crazy lady with whom he was trapped on that island. Oppai Suffocation!



Najenda and Esdeath are setting traps within traps for each other. Good stuff.

Kurome's Emperor's Tool is OP. She brings an undead army with her wherever she goes!

Even Wave knows Seryu is a bad seed. But he steels himself like Boris to follow orders.

The accidental harem king captured another heart. Even Chelsea can't help but like the honest and straightforward Tatsumi.

Lubbock wants to kill the Religious Organization's spy because he's drugging women (probably), while Susanoo wants to kill him for profanely adding drugs to good food. Common ground found.

Oh, hey, beach episode. No, not really. More like trying to attract attention so people think Night Raid has split into two teams. Team Anonymous (good one, Mine) gets to play at the lake longer, while the ones with their faces on Wanted Posters have to hide again.

The real fun stuff is happening lakeside. Chelsea and Leone are frolicking, as beautiful, confident young women like to do.



But they have the most fun teasing innocent and earnest young men.

I notice Leone is a little flushed waiting for Tatsumi's answer. I think she needs to lick his ear again.

Looks like Wave vs. Tatsumi is postponed again. Even so, all of Night Raid against Kurome's Yatsufusa is going to be rough because of all the strong dead creatures and people she's collected. Nice guy Boris is slated for death too.

I wonder how Kurome avoided Mine's sniper shot. Did she feel killing intent like Leone and Esdeath do?

When those with Emperor's Tools fight, somebody's going to die. Sad to say, but I think the odds are on Boris taking one for the Jaeger team. Akame ga Kill! is ramping up again, so that means the main character body count is going to ramp up too.
