Sword Art Online II - Episode 11
GGO, or Gya-Gya-Online continues. Kirito thinks Death Gun has an accomplice. Asuna wants answers. Kirito and Sinon form a plan to defeat Death Gun.
Heh.
If you thought all the gya-gya-gya was over last week, you were wrong. You know, I come up with all sorts of interesting crime solving while inspecting female butt cleavage too. What can I say? It's soothing...
With all that yakking about how a bullet in the game can't kill you and with nothing going on, I was about to ...
Uh, I thought I was watching Sword Art Online II, not Sinon Ass Online II. Well, I was totally wrong about that.
Sinon's mounds work wonders on Kirito's thinking ability. My idea about using the aiming reticule to slow a heartbeat down to zero didn't fit in with how Death Gun was able to "kill" that one dude being interviewed when that guy wasn't actually shot by the bullet, or had his weapons out so that the aiming display was visible. Having an accomplice kill that guy at the same time is mundane, but effective, as was over the shoulder hacking.
The important thing about Sinon's elevated heart rate is the automatic logout if it stays too high for too long. If Kirito's theory is correct, that would have meant she would have woken up to find her attempted killer in her room, which probably would have meant her death anyhow.
That Virtual Division dude plays ALO too? It was nice for the other SAO survivors to "meet" the guy in charge of keeping them alive for two years.
Yui knows how to drop you some knowledge.
Hmm.
Now that we know Kirito is safe because the Laughing Coffin crew does not have his address, we have to wonder if it's really just one other guy on the outside. Death Gun already killed one guy, but did his accomplice have enough time to get over to Sinon's place to knock her off? I'm leaning toward more than one accomplice. One thing I usually don't like in adventure shows is how the main character can turn into an ace detective to use his dialogue as an expository device. For a video game player, it's not that far of a reach, since they're used to looking for clues and rules, and figuring out ways to put them together or exploit them. Kirito has always been the rules breaker, so what he did here with his theorizing doesn't annoy me that much. Plus, I had Sinon Ass Online to keep my visual interest.
Sinon and Kirito have come up with an ambush plan, but we saw how Death Gun was able to dodge Sinon's sniper shot before. Perhaps Kirito will have to maneuver him into a situation where he can't dodge it. In any case, I hope Gya-Gya-Online is over and we can get back to some BAMFing action. That Death Gun guy really needs a beam saber in the gut.
