Either those tank robots use a lot of lube or hydraulic fluid, or the animators are making a real point that the Great Asian Alliance is using those Sorcery Boosters in them, which contain the brains of magicians, spraying all that red liquid all over the place.

You've got the heirs to 4 of the 10 Master Clans kicking ass, one heir to one of the Hundred Families, and a whole bunch of the kids we've seen use their skills over the course of this show. Even the teachers can save hundreds of students from falling rubble. What the hell was the Great Asian Alliance thinking attacking hundreds of martially trained magicians?

Amidst all this chaos, Mayumi still has time to tease Tatsuya.

You can still see all the scars on his chest as he suits up. It's unfortunate they put the new flight control in his belt buckle, because it looks like he's nutpunching himself every time he uses it. Nutpunching is no good. Well, at least he can say it's not his fault because his team modified his suit design a little bit.

Miyuki got to get her BAMF'ing action in too.

We've joked before about freezing jumblies solid, but she actually got to do it against some bad guys. Okay, she froze the rest of them solid too, not just their jumblies.

When do we get to see Fujibayashi in her ass, ah, BAMF suit? The rest of their special squad is already suited up. She's needs to get her butt in gear, literally. Please.

When Miyuki begged the sky for help, it sent down her brother. We know what destructive power he has, and that he can regenerate himself, but what could he do for Kei and Kirihara? I got man-tears as he used his healing ability on those two. He had tried to leave the military world behind to focus on helping the world, and then he was drawn back in. But on the current battlefield, he used his full strength powers to heal others. I wondered how he did it, since he needs to have backup data to install a restore point. I noticed Miyuki was holding on to him as he activated his spell. We've seen brother and sister combine their spell casting before as they hold on to each other, so maybe it was Miyuki who had her schoolmates' restore points? That would explain the heartfelt thanks and praise Tatsuya had for his little sister. And like a god, he flew off to wreak havoc on his foes and render mercy to his friends.

I can't understand what the Asian Alliance commander's plan was on stealing the magical index in Yokohama. I understand the heavy military force to assault what is basically Fort Knox, but he's also using that force on a bunch of kids. This is basically a terrorist attack at the same time as an invasion. There is no way a government would not retaliate in kind. This isn't just a criminal organization trying to rob a bank. This is a federation of nation-states invading sovereign territory and killing its citizens. Maybe a lot of the geopolitical backstory was left out of the animation, because I don't know why they're attacking this way, or why now. This smacks of North Korea style desperation.

Well, whatever the reasons are, it got us to the last episode. I have no idea how they're going to close it out, but I expect high levels of satisfaction from BAMF style retaliation and repudiation. And some slightly inappropriate sibling affection. It wouldn't be Mahouka without it!
