Climbing and rolling week for getting my fast cadence and rhythm back on the slopes, and I destroyed several records. Absolutely devastated them! Putting about 1:30 on most of them, even within the same week. When I did these courses last year as I was rebuilding my form, I wondered and hoped if I could break the 50 minute mark on some of my shorter climbing and rolling courses the next year. This week gave my answer, "Oh yeah!" I'm not even done building yet. It takes me 6 months to build my base fitness for the rest of the year. I'm even faster on the descents from the beginning of the year. Like the Glenoaks descent: 30 seconds faster just falling down a hill.
