10 Second Anime - Chuunibyou demo Koi ga Shitai! Ren - Episode 8

Chuunibyou demo Koi ga Shitai! Ren - Episode 8

The Real Fake Mori Summer appears, and she tries to steal Dekomori away from the Fake Real Mori Summer! Who will Dekomori choose?

Yes Kumin, they had a good time on their trip, but Rikka wants you to ask her something. Go on, ask her!

The Real Fake Mori Summer makes her appearance, and it is indeed the stalker we saw in the earlier episodes, but she wasn't stalking Shinka. She was stalking Dekomori! She's the one who planted that note with the website address in Dekomori's bag. The other Far Eastern Magical Nap Society of Summer members want to see who this impostor is, and, sure enough, they see she has impure motivations towards Dekomori.

Shinka can't take anymore of the crap the Real Fake Mori Summer is spouting, and confronts her. Dekomori, still convinced that Shinka is the Fake Real Mori Summer, warns Real Fake about her fakeness. The proof Real Fake showed Dekomori was the hand jewelry, which was probably copied from the original Mori Summer blog. Real Fake asks Shinka if she's the real one, why did she renounce the Mabinogion? Shinka is not prepared to answer. Yuuta chimes in it's complicated.

Later in Shinka's room, while making sure her jewelry is actually still in its box, they look for proof that Shinka is the Fake Real, realizing her own jewelry is not good enough for proof. Shinka, it seems, has not really given up her chuunibyou, and asks the spirits to help her find something else. They don't seem to get an answer, but it gives Yuuta and Rikka a nice moment of holding hands on their walk home.

In round two of the confrontation between the Real Fake and the Fake Real Mori Summer, Real Fake brags about her proof that she's real by her hand jewelry and by her own person. Dekomori wants Shinka to prove she's the Real Mori Summer, and even taunts her like usual.

Shinka doesn't have any of her own proof besides her own veil and her other jewelry, which Dekomori has seen already, so she gives up. It's a burden she's finally free of, and she can just point to this other girl if anyone asks about Mori Summer. Dekomori seems disappointed, and even misses messing with the Fake Real in school.

Kumin is the one most worried, because she suspects Real Fake has other intentions for Dekomori besides having fun with their fantasies. She says she's even scary with how she looks at Dekomori. Kumin's yuri sense is tingling... After they see the Real Fake snuggling with the picture she took of Dekomori at their first visit, they know they have to do something.

They figure to convince Dekomori of the Real Fake's fakeness, the Fake Real is going to have to enter her fantasy world and engage on that level. Shinka says she's out of practice, and even Rikka seems to be out of power without her disciple around. Rikka suggests Sophia, because she's the Eternal Magical Devil Girl. Shichimiya shows up pretty quick, and it's a bonus that she used to be Mori Summer's first disciple. Shinka is still embarrassed by the things she used to say.

The next day, Real Fake is making her intentions known to Dekomori, calling her the Angel she's been looking for. She begins to struggle against Real Fake's advances, and the Fake Real Mori Summer shows up to do battle. In the course of the battle scene, Real Fake starts using powers that were never mentioned in the Mabinogion, claiming she's more like the True Mori Summer than the original ever was, and Shinka convinces Dekomori that she actually cares about her by talking about how well she knows her. Dekomori joins the fight and defeats Real Fake. She cries that all she wanted was her Angel's first kiss. Shinka and Dekomori jump in embarrassment and Yuuta says it's too late. They took each other's first kiss already. Hah! Real Fake runs off crying! It was an accident, they swear, when they tripped at the Christmas party last year. For reals!

Well, Dekomori still doesn't believe the Fake Real is Mori Summer, but she knows Real Fake isn't either, so things are back to normal, except we don't know for sure who Real Fake is. I guess we'll find out soon.
