Outbreak Company - Episode 3
Otaku missionary work will help sell Japanese pop culture. Traditionalist purists won't like that, though. Defeat them with the power of cleavage and fire extinguishers!
Previously, we saw Last Otaku-kun, er, Shinichi, trying to figure out how to sell media to a people who don't understand Japanese and are illiterate. Well, it sounds like missionary work, except instead of trying to convert people to Roman Catholicism by teaching them the Latin Alphabet and a romance language, it's Japanese characters to sell them manga and video games. That means building a school, and allowing elites and the commoners to be taught together. With the queen's blessing (blessing Shinichi's lap, I mean), this gets done rather quickly.
Eep, I saw a death flag pop up when Miusel the elf-maid asks Shinichi to take her back to Japan when his mission is over.
With the mingling of the classes and the different races in little school, of course a racist terrorist organization is going to take hostages. Good thing Minori keeps a pen knife in her ample bosom, and that Last Otaku-kun programmed his phone alarm to ring on Madoka the Magical Girl's birthday for a good diversion. Minori kicks! Miusel kapows! But the big magical bomb is going to be set off. Oops, no match for a standard issue fire extinguisher. And then the death flag trips, as Miusel takes a knife in the gut to protect the queen. Cliffhanger!
I'm not too worried though. The jealousy subtext between the loli-queen and elf-meido-san is too important to the comedy of this show. Otherwise, Petrarca the queen would not have any reason to throw stuff at Shinichi.
