Servant x Service - Episode 12
Megumi takes a break. Lucy and Hasebe finally go on their date. Hasebe is pretty smooth. Lucy looks fine in a skirt. Hasebe learns some bad news.
Megumi is so bold! Kyaa! Okay, I know I've typed that more than once, and I had to say it twice in my head for this episode. First, using Lucy as a pillow. *shakes fist to sky* Unfair! And then pushing down Ichimiya... but she fell asleep. Working three days straight on her cosplay outfits for Comiket would tire anyone out.
Megumi still finished Lucy's dress for her date, though. Was it a little shorter than the one in the store Lucy liked? Oh, Megumi doesn't remember, maybe she was too tired working on all the other outfits. Ufufu. But it's too late now, so she can't fix it. "Totally on purpose!" thinks Lucy.
Finally the date happens. A little late, however, because not only is Lucy not used to skirts, but she's not used to walking in heels either. Hasebe is impressed, but decides Lucy needs one more thing to make her outfit complete. Glasses! She was wearing contacts just for the date, but Hasebe is a meganecon (glasses-fetish guy). That's not too surprising considering all the galge he plays. Technically Lucy is a megane-oppai type, which seems to be the main weakness for all sorts of otaku. Um, do not do an image search on that term with your safe-search filter set to "off." ... I warned you!
Hasebe seems to be a nice guy, holding Lucy's stuff, walking at her pace, holding her chair for her as she sits. All the polite guy stuff we're supposed to do. But Hasebe is still smooth. "Want some candy?" Oh ho, now I'm holding your hand. Nice. Smooth. Hasebe has a reason to hold her hand: she'd probably run away after asking her to go out with him. Ah well, the date gets interrupted by his family.
Hasebe's sister Kaoru is getting married, and this is the day the family is meeting the fiancé. Kaoru had told him to go on the date anyway, since it was with Lucy (ufufu), but the dad thought otherwise. So now, they have a chance at another date.
The next day at the office, Hasebe comes in totally depressed. Remember, the whole premise for Lucy to work at the social welfare office is to find the guy who approved her very long given name. Hasebe found out who it was and, as we all suspected, it was his father. Now we got comedy level drama!
