10 Second Anime: Servant x Service Episode 11

Servant x Service Episode 11

Yay! A Lucy-centric episode! The boss goes missing. Lucy finds him. Miyoshi takes a trip on her day off, but it still feels like work. Miyoshi gets drunk with Tanaka.

Lucy is starting to feel a little awkward around Hasebe since he made his "the only girl I need is you" confession. So, she goes in search of him, and ends up getting the bunny-boss involved. However, at the little market outside the office, the boss gets mistakenly bought in front of a stand selling stuffed animals. Lucy gets a little overwhelmed to learn that their building has a library, but finds the boss there with a mother and daughter. He's resigned to spend his remaining time with the cute little girl, but she quickly chooses the bunny Lucy brought to trade. Heartbreak! And finally Lucy finds Hasebe in one of his slacking spots. I detected some "leaning" from Lucy towards Hasebe. He did too.

Miyoshi is stressing out about her upcoming date with Tanaka, and decides to take a little trip to the city center to take her mind off it. However, she ends up meeting most of her coworkers hanging out there too. The worst day off ever is wrapped up with a long conversation with granny Tanaka. Poor Miyoshi. And then there's still the date with the younger Tanaka, in which he can't stop talking about Hasebe, or drinking wine. Finally, Miyoshi asks him to talk about something else, and then he gets shy starting to talk about his work. While giggling about how normal that is, considering all she's seen already from the younger Tanaka, she takes a sip of wine, and promptly passes out. Can any of the women working at the Social Welfare office hold their liquor? We have yet to see how Megumi does. In the end, Miyoshi agrees to another date, because, regretfully, they did not even get to talk about regrets.

On a hmmm note, I noticed this episode had a taiko drum reference too, with Hasebe drowning his disappointment in a galge ending by beating all the high scores at a taiko game in an arcade. And the music for the game was the opening credits song. Also, Miyoshi seems to have a knack for telling guys what they should do about the women in their lives that kind of kicks them in the gut. If only she could use that superpower against the Tanakas...
