After gaining about 5 pounds while visiting my brother the brother (sitting around eating and drinking will do that I suppose), I decided to give up my two drink (beer or wine) dessert for a couple of weeks to get back to what I was before the week long break. I should have started drinking again last week.
It only took 4 days of being back on my regular schedule and diet, and I was already back to pre-visit weight. But then I thought, well, I still need to get my body used to the schedule again, so I'll go another week like I planned. And then I lost another 4 pounds this week... That's too much.
Over the last 18 months, I have lost 26 pounds of fat. I kept thinking, "I've got to plateau somewhere." On my little frame, 26 pounds is over 20 percent of my original weight. So, back to drinking. Sip.
