While at "training camp," Rias' group learns they are preparing to confront the Chaos Brigade. Koneko's family history is closely linked with these developments.

It looked like the members of Rias' group actually worked on their skills, but Issei just spent all his time getting chased by a dragon in the forest. Maybe he needed to work on his survival skills, but Azazel noted that his self-preservation is not enough motivation to bring out his most powerful attacks. Obviously needs more "skinship."

 

Gasper had the harshest training - walk around in an open space with lots of strangers!

 

The Gremory house is big. Its bedrooms are big. Its beds are big. Issei and the former Church members Asia and Xenovia had trouble sleeping in such big beds. Gasper the agoraphobe just did what he normally does. 

I swear I crack up every single time I see his eyes sparkle in that box!

 

Rias was powerful enough already, so she needed study time to help her strategic thinking and address her lack of small unit combat experience.

More importantly, Rias in glasses! Rimless.

 

Because the story is set in Hell, a lot of characters from the first season are reappearing. Like the little sister of the arranged marriage fiancé Rias had. Ravel supposedly transferred to Issei's school, but she made no appearances in the 2nd season.

She's still got that big crush on Issei after he pounded her big brother into the ground.

 

Speaking of engagements, Rias' parents are hilarious in making jokes at their daughter's expense. Mr. Gremory wants Issei to call him Father from now on and Mrs. Gremory made embarrassing comments about Rias' feelings about the proper match. The dad seems pretty much the same way he was during the family visit to the school last season.

 

 

Hmm.

Koneko's back story, as told by Rias, includes a sister cat who's devil power went out of control, which is why Koneko has been so reserved, even with her monster strength she's shown so far. We still don't know why she's lost her appetite. Now we know some of the reasons why Koneko's sister Kuroka joined the Chaos Brigade, but there's got to be more to why Kuroka is trying to meet her sister at this time. Kuroka has two tails and an adult figure. Will Koneko also similarly, ah, develop if she unleashes her nekomata power?

Like another short young-looking twin-tail, Ravel's proportions don't match her height.

The Harem King's imagination doesn't need any extra training.

Rias is okay with Issei dreaming about her but definitely not okay with him fantasizing about busty maids. Considering how her older brother met his wife, Rias has cause for concern.

 

Xenovia has fun side to her when she's in bed. No, I mean when she's sleeping.

She's a big time restless sleeper. This is not the way Issei wanted her legs wrapped around him, I'm sure.

I guess that bed was too big, even for three people. Xenovia still rocks the sporty underwear!
