10 Second Anime - Outbreak Company - Episode 6

Outbreak Company - Episode 6

The soccer field is a battle field, especially when dwarves have super strength and elves have super magic. Minori lets her fujoshi flag fly, and so does Romilda?

After seeing Elbia go crazy over a soccer ball (she is a wolf-girl after all), which happens to be an important keepsake belonging to Minori from the Prince of Soccer (haha Prince of Tennis reference), Shinichi decides to have the kids play a friendly soccer match to release their tension, and to see the post-match friendship trope happen. He doesn't know what happens in real life at an athletic meet. The dwarves and elves have been arguing a lot lately, which is their default position, but now they argue about anime and manga. It's Romilda the dwarf's turn to argue the merits of Boys Love with Roic the elf, who is passionate about moe (heh). So the Last Otaku-kun sets up a soccer match between the dwarves and elves, in which handheld consoles are the prizes. They have a week to learn the rules, and absorb as much of Minori's instruction about kid sports club anime turned into Boys Love doujins. Well, at least Romilda appreciated that.

The Japanese government seems to have an ulterior motive in sponsoring the match, probably to gauge the offensive capabilities of dwarves and elves, and having the dwarves show off their physical prowess against the elves' magic is a great opportunity. In the first half, the dwarves dominate, with Romilda being their soccer ace. After half-time, in which Shinichi enjoys the anime specific sign of intimacy by picking rice off faces, the elves get to even things up by being allowed to use their magic. Minori makes sure that Roic and his buddy embrace shirtless after their first goal. New BL maniac Romilda even blushes at the sight as Minori takes more pictures of her cosplaying elves, Roic gives Romilda a smirk, showing he knows what's going on in her head.

Then the match devolves into total war. As the elves and dwarves are all exhausted, Petrarca the empress runs onto the field to kick the ball a little, as Elbia chases her, and Miusel uses her magic to deposit the queen close enough to a goal for her to kick the ball in. Scandalous behavior happens soon after, as the empress high-fives a half-elf. Otaku power is changing the Eldant world. As for the dwarves and elves, because the match was a draw, they have to share the new gamepads, and just have some new thing to argue about.
