Alieze claimed her ability to control animals and monsters was not complicated. It was all about love! Lloyd would finally become curious about love, much to Sylpha's hope. He did, but he didn't express it that way. Close enough to make his sister, her maid Eris, and Sylpha blush from his earnest declaration of how much he loved them, though.
Then Lloyd visited his other brother, Prince Dian. He's a magic blacksmith who asked for Lloyd's help to enchant metal as he smithed swords instead of the usual method of applying spells to finished swords. Lloyd noticed he needed better ink made from monster cores, so he and Sylpha went to the adventurer's guild to hunt monsters in dungeons. Sylpha is the famous Silver Blader adventurer! Tao also joined them, which helped Dian make extraordinarily potent spellswords.
