Laxus's dragon lightning blasts shattered Erza's armor, forcing her to switch to an all-out offensive.

Erza and Laxus's fight allowed them to go all-out as they never could before. Erza never felt comfortable leaving the Fairy Tail guild for long because she thought no one could match her fighting prowess enough to protect it after Master Makarov retired. Laxus proved more than her equal! Too bad they defeated each other, though. Kiria watched their double knockout and destroyed the dragon orb Erza tried to protect.
