Slime Taoshite 300-nen - Episode 2 - Laika Starts Cooking Fire

Laika the dragon girl settled in with Azusa's peaceful like by sharing domestic chores and shopping in town.

The full opening credits appeared for the second episode, showing all the girls who will form Azusa's yuri paradise, er, coven, uh, household in the highlands.

An extremely angry little girl with a slime-themed aura foreshadowed who will be Azusa's monster of the week. Before we get to her, Laika immediately started contributing to making Azusa's life easier by helping her with daily chores and teaching her how to make a barrier against evil for her nearby village. She learned that in an all-girls school. What else did she learn there? Within minutes, that barrier paralyzed a thief who appeared in town. Laika received praise and a proper introduction as Azusa's dragon girl pupil.

Before the murderous slime spirit Shalsha appeared to avenge her slime brethren's deaths at the hands of the "evil witch of the highlands," her sister Falfa came to warn Azusa about her. Falfa called Azusa "Mama," because all the souls of the dead slimes created two Slime Spirits fifty years ago. Unfortunately for Shalsha, she practiced a very specific spell against Azusa which worked only on her, required decades of magic collection, and left her weak to a dragon poke.

The eye catch shows a cute and magical milk pour coffee art piece of Azusa.

After Shalsha's utter defeat, she and Falfa joined Azusa's household. Shalsha calls Azusa the more deferential "Mom," which is understandable because she did think of nothing but trying to kill her for fifty years. The two girls, and even Laika, received a motherly lesson from Azusa about not being picky about food, so they all needed to finish their celery soup.

The full end credits had some nice scenes of Azusa enjoying her first three hundred years of peaceful reincarnation. Her life is more exciting recently as she collects cute girls to live under her roof.
