Strike Witches - Road to Berlin - Episode 11 - Shizuka Launches

Shizuka was eager to make up for Yoshika using up all her magic to protect the city of Kiel.

A cute doctor with no skirt confirmed that Yoshika used up all her magic again and would need to rest for a week. Patton so respected "the famous Miyafuji," he brought her with him to convince the combined Allied command to postpone the mission for ten days. It didn't work. The road to Berlin needed to stay on schedule without Yoshika. Showing how big this operation would be, we had a cameo from the Brave Witches Gundala and Hikari. Somehow, Hikari couldn't recognize "the famous Miyafuji."

Shizuka blamed herself for not being strong enough to prevent Yoshika from saving everyone and using up all her magic power. She'll get used to it. The other  Strike Witches have. But she's not used to it yet. The important thing here is that Ursula already repaired Yoshika's Striker Units, but they needed to keep it secret from Yoshika, otherwise "the famous Miyafuji" wouldn't remain at base, for once.

The eye catches show the scope of Operation Victoria, the battle for Berlin, and all the other flying witch squads coming to help. Shizuka's bandage shouldn't be on her arm, but I think this was supposed to be a bad dream watching Yoshika abandoning her for being pathetic. Shizuka's not pathetic. She has finely shaped upper thighs where that bandage should be.

Minna's mission briefing on Operation Victoria shows how big the battle for Berlin will be. The Strike Witches will fly cover for Patton's Big Red Tank. This will be tougher without Yoshika's Big Blue Shield, but the Strike Witches of the 501st only get the toughest missions.

Patton's army of tanks escort the Landkreuzer Ratte, one of those Nazi superweapons that only existed on the drawing board. Patton is confident of its anti-Neuroi armor, but the Wolf Neuroi appears to hold a grudge. The focused beams and resulting damage revealed something else – "the famous Miyafuji" volunteered to act as the Land Cruiser's medic! Yoshika found a way to get close to the boss Neuroi with broken pipes!

As the Strike Witches kept Neuroi drone swarms away from the tanks, Patton's Land Cruiser used its anti-Neuroi shells effectively against the Wolf's walls. It had enough ammunition to take down all the walls and advance into range of the Wolf. Meanwhile, the drone swarms didn't let up at all, separating the Strike Witches from the ground forces.

In the end, it was good for the Strike Witches to be far away from the Land Cruiser because the Wolf had lured Patton in close enough to trap it inside a huge dome. The Wolf had used up the debris of the buildings to construct it and the thick walls blocked radio transmissions too.

Setting up an exciting season finale, Yoshika and Patton took refuge in the famous Zoo Tower, Mio heard Yoshika was inside the Wolf Dome and turned around to deliver Ursula's useful "toys," and Trude declared they could use the Berlin Underground (the subway system of tunnels) to get inside too. The Wolf Dome Head would find out that it hadn't trapped Yoshika inside the dome with it. It was trapped inside with Yoshika! Keep those broken pipes away from her!
