Shizuka was happy to join the famous 501st JFW taking Mio's place, but she was happier to be together with Yoshika. Unfortunately, Shizuka placed a lot of pressure on herself when the other girls don't care about superficial things. Shizuka will learn to loosen up eventually.
Lynette gave Yoshika and Shizuka a tour of their Nederland base. The facilities will give Yoshika and the Strike Witches ample opportunities for yuri loving and slice-of-life fun. Shizuka was absolutely floored that Yoshika already had a yuri partner. That was supposed to be her job!
Shizuka saw how much training and learning she needed to keep up with the famous 501st. The witches earned their reputation honestly, especially Yoshika. Unfortunately, Yoshika's miraculous magic recovery came with complications. She dropped out of the sky!

While Yoshika was taken offline and Shizuka continued to train, a Neuroi came to attack the base. Strangely, it just ran away from the Strike Witches, but we saw the actual attacker coming with only Minna and two grounded witches. Yoshika suggested Shizuka fly her around. They can combine to make a full Strike Witch! Minna couldn't say no to her.
It was time to make Minna's tight burgundy butt shine! Yoshika handled the shield while Shizuka handled the flying and the shooting. It was a good plan. Yoshika enjoyed the whole experience, especially the soft, warm feeling Shizuka gave to her back. Shizuka didn't sign up for that! I think she did, but she doesn't want to admit that publicly. Yet.
