Ai and her taciturn friend Rina saw Setsuna's performance at school and wanted to join the School Idol Club. Because the girls had such strong personalities and unique styles, Setsuna and Kasumi thought the best way forward for their idol group would be a team of individual idols. This meant the newer girls like Ai, Rina, and Shizuku needed to form an image and concept of their idol identity.
Ai had a difficult time thinking of an individual image because her identity in high school has been helping other sports teams whenever they needed support roles. She realized that's a unique identity too, the cheerleader! Ai also realized she likes bad puns, so this is going to part of her audience chats going forward.
