The opening credits has the girls actually dancing together! I don't even know if the Nijigsaki girls will settle on an idol group name before the end of the season. Since the high school name means something like Blooming Rainbows, I'm sure it will become important.
Kasumi doesn't know what happened to Yuki Setsuna the High School Idol Club president and why she disbanded their club so quickly after an argument of Kasumi wanting to dance cutely while Yuki wanting to emphasize passion. After unsuccessfully infiltrating the president's office to find Yuki, Kasumi decided to make her own club, recruiting Ayumu and Yuu first as founding members. Yuu is such an idol fan girl and is living her best life watching idols do idol things.
