The colors and light of the rescheduled Vuelta show up in different ways, but the most noticeable are the colors of the foliage, vegetation, and crops. It's definitely autumn, as we can see by the drying sunflowers almost ready for seed harvesting. That's not the usual bright yellow and green we expect from the late summer Grand Tour.
