Episode 1 - "I'm Getting Done Wildly"

Well, this is the show that saved the season for me. Oh, not really. But it is a funny, trashy, uncensored, exploitative romp with magical sexy girls who can only get magical by sexually arousing each other. I said trashy, right?
This is a show that's part of multimedia project involving a game and a social media app. Let's just say, like Blade and Soul, the animation quality is not going to be top tier. They're trying to sell video games, not make animated art. However, when the art is good, it is good looking and is concentrated on making the girls look good. Priorities.
I liked that the dominant main character, Mirei who will be handling (hurr) Mamori the weapon, didn't speak a word until two thirds of the way through the episode. And it was basically to warn Mamori that she was going to do more lewd things to her.
This show does not take itself seriously at all, which is a good thing. Mamori was abducted during gym class, so she's wearing a fetish outfit, and her surname was on her t-shirt, but it was spelled with the kanji for "virgin" (処女). She makes clear its pronounced To-ko-no-me, which are other pronunciations for the characters, but I don't know where the "no" part comes from.
The character designs hit all the fetish formulas too.
Serious girl wearing red glasses? Check.
Bikini episode? Checked off in the first 10 minutes.
Bondage and sadomasochism played for laughs? Check.
I got a big laugh out of what the facility housing these girls looked like: a big magical castle! Even the student in charge was dressed like a prince, also following the female school prince formula.
Remember, this show's purpose is to market a video game and sell merchandise. We've got the nendoroid designs already made up.

I mentioned earlier that this show is uncensored. Oh yes, very much so. Here are some of the NSFW scenes which advanced the plot with PLOT.
This pair playing hooky got first crack at testing the newly delivered magical girls. I knew it was going to be one of THOSE shows when the busty girl's huge areolas couldn't even be covered up by her top.
This is all very important. I'm serious. The girls can't activate their power unless the weapon partner gets sexually aroused. There's some compatibility index that the control center mentioned, so I guess the weapon handler needs to have some arousal too.
There will be some Queens Blade action with clothing slowly getting degraded during battle. Or in this case, in one shot.
Making the girls look good when they're most vulnerable is where the animation priorities are focused. I approve!
Usually in these kind of shows, the main characters show the least amount of skin. The idea is supposed to make the few times they are indecent a special treat for the fans. Not this show. The most powerful pair has to get the most sexually aroused!
For a girl who hardly talks and is supposed to be as new at these magical weapon circumstances as Mamori, Mirei knew what to do and how to do it. I guess we wouldn't care what's happening at this island unless some special people like Mamori and Mirei showed up.

It's been about three months since last we saw nudity in anime on broadcast television with High School DxD BorN doing the heavy lifting last time. But that was harem comedy and this is pure yuri. Aggressive yuri, but lesbianism all the same. I'll be looking forward to comedic takes on all the usual themes found in those kinds of stories, along with aggressive nudity throughout. Bring on the bewbs!
