The plot to depose Gaara begins with a sandstorm to lure him out and help. Fuu and Gaara meet during the crisis.

Fuu is still the effusive handful.
The jounins know how to contain her by just mentioning their kage's name. It's like she's an animal who got tamed when the leader pulled a thorn out of her paw. Pretty much what happened.
Bug lady's gotta fly, but should an adult insect with wings still be able to make silk? The larval forms only make that to form their cocoons and making the silk look like a spider web is crossing species lines. That rescue scene could have been done better.
Tenten was still "convenient" pulling out a big shield for her team to crawl under during the sandstorm. She still didn't like the sound of that.
This monk looking dude mentioned the name of the priest who was the former Jinchuuriki. So now we know how he's going to extract the 1-tailed beast and kill Gaara as a side effect.
I figure Fuu didn't fly all that far away if the previews show her trying to help Gaara escape. I'm glad they didn't show her flying around before now. The right time to trot out all the references to the tailed beasts forms and powers is when they're the focus of the story. I want to see more of what Fuu and the 7-tailed beast can do.
